About Me
My Name is Rayven, I was born in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. I graduated Bachelors Degree in Arts and Science major in Hotel and Restaurant Management at University of the East Philippines. After graduating, while waiting for my documents to migrate in Spain, I got a job as a Restaurant Manager, wherein I gained experience on how to run restaurant operations, distributing workloads, posts, and assignments to staffs as well as staff scheduling, restaurants promotions, guest handling complaints, and the communications with back of the house and front of the house. after a year I migrated to spain, and work as a dishwasher at a restaurant for three months, then I get a job offer as a cook where my friends are working. I work there for more than two years and learn about the spanish cuisine, culture, and language.
After working in Hospitality Industry, Restaurants specifically for eight years. I got that feeling that I'm missing something in life, and that is learning new things. So I Decided to learn programming. My brother has this book about Python (Learn Python the Hard Way by Zed Shaw), and i studied it do some exercise on my Desktop, I enjoyed it even though I have no previous experience in coding and computer stuffs. that's when I decided to find a school where they offer coding course. after browsing the web, I find Le Wagon Madrid. a bootcamp that offers a a full stack web development course for full ten weeks duration, it was fun, fast paced and enjoyable experience.
Right now, after the bootcamp has ended, My main focus is to find a job which will help me improve my skills and learn more things and techniques on front end web development languages like JavaScript, React, Redux, SaSS, HTML, BootStrap, Tailwind, REST API, data bases and more... also to learn new languages.
